Koeber’s was established in 1963 by George and Jaci Koeber. George’s dream to start his own flooring company began in college when he snagged his first job in the flooring industry. He later began his own business as an installation services business for other floor covering stores. They eventually evolved into a full service store which included sales and installations of floor coverings and window coverings. The business became Koeber’s Inc. As they grew more help was needed, so their children became involved. As George and Jaci neared retirement it became apparent to them that their children were going to be able to carry on the business. The decision was made in 1995 to hand the business over to the kids at George and Jaci’s retirement. Under their leadership, the business has become what it is today. George passed away in the summer of 2019 but his legacy lives on.

Jerry is the proud son of our founders, George and Jaci Koeber, and flooring has been part of his life from the start. He began installing at just 16 years old and has been with Koebers ever since. With decades of hands on experience, his knowledge of the industry is hard to match.

During the week you will find him out measuring projects and helping customers plan their spaces. On his days off he is usually in Newport fishing offshore or spending time with his grandsons.

Jaann is the youngest daughter of George and Jaci Koeber and part of our second generation at Koebers. She is the behind the scenes powerhouse who keeps everything running smoothly. From bookkeeping and scheduling to keeping files organized and the calendar on track, Jaann makes sure the details are handled so the rest of us can do what we do best.

When she is not at the office, she is traveling, keeping up with her three boys and sneaking in workouts at her favorite local gym.

Jill is the daughter of our founders, George and Jaci Koeber, and she carries on their legacy with heart, creativity, and a true love for helping people create beautiful spaces. Married to Chris and a proud mom of three daughters, Jill wears many hats, and she does them all well.

She has a natural eye for style and a genuine care for the families she works with, which makes the whole process feel easy and fun.

When she is not designing, she is soaking up time with her 5 (soon to be 6!) grandchildren or heading somewhere sunny like Arizona.

Chris is married to Jill and is our go to window covering expert at Koebers. From sewing custom draperies years ago to today’s modern motorized shades, he has truly seen it all and knows it inside and out. A skill unmatched in our industry.

He also has a long history in flooring installation, so he understands projects from every angle. These days he handles estimating for both flooring and window coverings and still installs window coverings, with a special knack for PowerView automation and making it all work seamlessly.

When he is not on the job, you will probably find him at the coast, fishing, or out snowmobiling and dirt bike riding.

Chris got his start in the flooring world as a contractor, and eventually joined the Koeber’s team full-time. Over the years, he and his family have become more than coworkers, they’re part of the Koeber family, sharing trips, vacations, and plenty of laughs along the way. Today, Chris is one of our lead craftsmen and a fantastic mentor to other installers, sharing his skills (and a few jokes) wherever he goes. He’s grown alongside the company and takes huge pride in every job he tackles. Simply put, we’re lucky to have Chris—and his talents—in the Koeber family!

In Jason’s first years at Koeber’s he gained the nickname, “Chief” as he was the chief of our area rugs/binding department. As time went on and his experience gained, and he has become an impeccable hardwood craftsman and leads a hard surface team. He is a phenomenal installer and great family friend. We feel grateful to have him on our team.

Since 7th grade, Ashley has been close family friends with the Koeber family. Now Ashley is on her 14th year with Koebers Interiors. She is a major sports fanatic and on weekends you can find her exploring new restaurants of Portland or gardening in her yard.

Rolando is most recognized at Koeber’s for the precise care he puts into his work. He has become a master carpet craftsman and his clean cuts and edging around stairs is flawless. Away from work he enjoys spending time with his family and playing soccer.

Georgie is a daughter of Jill and Chris, and married to Koeber's craftsman Alton Funk. Since her graduation at Eastern Oregon University, she moved into the Koeber family business as the third generation. Georgie is involved heavily with the Beaverton Area Chamber of Commerce. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her young kids.

Most days you can find Marcus in the warehouse binding while singing along to his favorite oldies tunes. He is our Rug Workroom manager. Outside of work he enjoys biking, hiking and running.

Jenna is the youngest daughter of Jill & Chris. She is third generation at Koebers and works in the showroom and office. She has grown up in the business and after graduating from Western Oregon University, she brings fresh new ideas to our team.

Alton leads a hard surface crew most days of the week. His attention to detail and quick paced labor skills make him an excellent hard surface and carpet craftsman. You may also see him partnering with Jason or Chris on large installations. After work he loves playing sports and going hunting or fishing. He traveled all the way from Weiser, Idaho to work for Koeber’s.

Abdiel is an apprentice determined to learn the ins and outs of the flooring trade. You’ll love having his friendly smile in your home alongside a lead installer. When his work day is over he cherishes spending time with his family.
