Quality installations. Carpet installation is one of the most important items to consider when purchasing a carpet.
Our installers follow the strict guidelines set by
the Carpet and Rug Institute. This includes the use of a wall-to-wall
power-stretcher (not a carpet-penetrating spike attached to the head of a
stretcher that will damage the carpet, as well as the floor). After
installation, our installers will completely clean up all the scraps,
vacuum the new carpet, sweep any necessary areas, and dispose of all
debris left from the installation. We always leave any "foot wiper" size
pieces left from cutouts, or waste pieces. If you would like these bound,
we can bind them for a nominal charge. Master Installers. We always need to do an in-home estimate to assure accurate amount of material needed for
your job. Jerry or Chris do all of our measuring. Both of them are certified Master Installers
and will be able to answer any questions regarding the installation, including seam placement
and types of treatments that can be used when joining other surfaces.
Our installers work in teams of two on most jobs.
This allows us to help with moving large items of furniture. There is
normally no extra charge for basic furniture. There is an extra charge for
pianos, pool tables, or other excessively large items. All items that one
person can carry by themselves, i.e. table chairs, lamps, books,
knickknacks , etc., must be moved out of the rooms to be installed prior
to the arrival of our installers. Due to the liability, we cannot move any
computers, antiques, clocks, hi-tech electronics, aquariums, or pets or
any kind. | |||
